With the next World Cup?…Ji So-yeon “You’re getting younger now”
Ji So-yeon, a living legend in the women’s soccer world, responded positively to the possibility of participating in the next Women’s World Cup.
The Korea Football Association (KFA) held the 2023 FIFA (International Football Federation) Women’s World Cup trophy tour at 12:30 pm on the 27th at Starfield COEX Mall Live Plaza in Seoul.
This event is held by FIFA in 32 countries participating in the World Cup to create a boom in the Women’s World Cup, and is the second event after Japan. KFA also prepared a place to pray for the women’s national team’s success.
The women’s national team, led by coach Colin Bell, will face Colombia, Morocco and Germany in the finals. All teams boast formidable power, but the national team challenges to advance to the round of 16 for the first time in eight years since 2015.
Ji So-yeon, who attended the event, said, “Looking at the trophy like this, I feel that the World Cup is approaching.”
She went on to share her thoughts on the recent Arnold Clark Cup held in England.
Ji So-yeon said, “It’s been a long time since we played against European players. Since we were off-season, it was difficult to deal with European players during the season. But I saw a lot of potential.”
He said, “I don’t think the technique is inferior. Coach Bell emphasizes the physical part and high-intensity training. There are many players like Yuri Choi in Europe who can run a lot at high speed. I thought I had enough potential in the World Cup if I raised it. I think I learned a lot from fighting strong teams.”
For Ji So-yeon, who was born in 1991 and is 33 years old in Korea, this World Cup could be her last tournament.스포츠토토
However, Ji So-yeon revealed that she would be able to participate in the next World Cup as long as her physical condition permits.
Ji So-yeon, who said, “First of all, my goal is to play well in the first match against Colombia,” said, “Participation in the next World Cup? After getting old only this year, won’t you become young again?” I will think about the next World Cup,” he said.
