Gwangju FC snapped a seven-match winless streak in the league with a victory away to Suwon FC.

Gwangju earned a 2-0 victory over Suwon in the 15th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at Suwon Sports Complex on Nov. 28, thanks to Timo’s first goal in the 30th minute and Asani’s second goal in the 38th minute.

With the win in front of 1,605 fans, Gwangju ended a seven-match winless streak and moved to eighth place in the league with 18 points (W5 D3 L7).

Suwon, on the other hand, fell into a four-game losing streak and remained on 15 points (4W, 3D, 8L), losing ground to Gwangju for eighth place and dropping to ninth.

Gwangju fielded a 4-4-2 on the day. Kim Kyung-min wore the goalkeeping gloves, while Lee Min-ki, Ahn Young-gyu, Timo, and Doo Hyun-seok formed the defense.
