Suns’ Booker out at least 4 weeks due to groin injury

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker suffered a left groin strain in the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, the team announced Wednesday.

Booker left the game after just four minutes due to the injury and didn’t return. Before Sunday, the three-time All-Star missed three consecutive games due to a groin injury, though it’s unclear if the ailment he sustained against Denver is an aggravation of the same issue. 안전놀이터

Phoenix is 2-4 with Booker out of the lineup this season, not including the Christmas Day meeting with the Nuggets that Booker left early.

The former 13th overall pick is averaging a career-high 27.1 points this season, along with 5.6 assists.

In addition to Booker, the Suns are currently missing starting forward Cameron Johnson, who suffered a torn meniscus in November.
