“I thought I wasn’t good enough,” says Jeong Yerim, unhappy with career-high season

“That’s why I really wanted to grow more in the next season. First of all, I lost the fight because of my lack of strength. I’m focusing on that. I’m also doing a lot of physical exercises,” he said.
“I want to improve in defence, and I want to defend the opponent’s ace. On offence, I want to improve my three-point shooting percentage. I’m confident in passing now. But if my shots go in, it will be easier to break through,” he added.
This season, Hana OneQ added veteran Kim Jong-yeon (179cm, F) to its roster. Kim is a veteran player who represents the WKBL. His roommate in the Taebaek training camp is Jeong Yerim, who has championship experience and will be a great mental support for the players.
“This time, (Kim) is sharing a room with my sister. My sister is really good at giving me advice from her experience, and that helps me a lot. Especially, she cares a lot about taking care of her body and is very knowledgeable. I’m still young and ignorant about such things, but I’m learning a lot thanks to her. (Laughs) She’s very supportive,” she said of Kim Jong-un.
