Drunk who police dropped off in front of house found dead in front of house two days later
According to the Incheon Namdong Police Station, a report of a “person lying down” near a temple in Namdong-gu, Incheon, was received by 112 at 7 p.m. on March 27. Police officers responded to the call and transported A, a man in his 60s who was intoxicated, to the district office. Fire and rescue authorities responded and sent paramedics to check on Mr. A안전놀이터, who was bleeding from the nose.
After receiving first aid, Mr. A expressed a desire to return home instead of being transported to a hospital, and the police took him to the first floor of his residence in a patrol car before leaving. However, Mr. A was found dead on the stairs in front of his house at 3 p.m. on March 29, two days later.
The National Institute of Forensic Science provided the police with a preliminary verbal opinion that Mr. A had a fracture in the back of his head.

Earlier, the police had announced that they would revise their protective measures manual to prevent recurrence after a series of deaths due to drunkenness.
