Daejeon, the protagonist who blemished ‘Flawless’, can he get revenge at home in Ulsan?

Ulsan welcomes Daejeon to the tiger’s den to avenge the only blemish on their otherwise flawless season.

The Ulsan Hyundai Tigers will host the Daejeon Hana Citizens in the 15th round of the Hana One Q K League 2023 on 28 November at 7pm at Munsu Football Stadium.

With 14 matches played, Ulsan is currently at the top of the league with 12 wins, one draw and one loss, and 37 points. They are 13 points ahead of second-placed FC Seoul, Jeju United, and Pohang Steelers (all on 24 points), but they will be looking to continue their good form without letting their guard down.

Ulsan eagerly awaited the big game. They lost 1-2 away on 16 April. A win against Daejeon would have made K League history by extending their winning streak to seven games, the longest since the start of the K League, but instead they suffered their first loss of the season. It is Ulsan’s only loss of the season. Ulsan is determined to get revenge against Daejeon when they return to action in 43 days.

That’s why Gwangyang Wonjeong’s victory was a game that had its ups and downs, but also its ups and downs. On the 24th, Ulsan won the FA Cup fourth round (round of 16) against Jeonnam Dragons 2-1 in extra time to advance to the fifth round (quarter-finals). With six consecutive league wins and an official seven-game winning streak in the FA Cup, the defending K League champions are showing their power.

On the day, Ulsan focused on checking the performances of players who hadn’t received much playing time and improving their physical condition. Yoon Il-Rok, Bojanic, Ataru, Kim Sung-Joon, Im Jong-Jong, Jung Seung-Hyun, and Kim Tae-Hwan were among those who took the field for the first time in a while.

Ulsan conceded an early goal to Jeonnam in the 18th minute of the second half, but then came out with a high level of intensity, with Im메이저사이트 Jong-soo scoring the equaliser in a chaotic situation in the opposition box in the second half of stoppage time. In the first minute of stoppage time, Martin Adam finished off Bako’s cross to secure the win. Adam has now scored in his last three official matches, including two in the league, proving his in-form form.

Lee Chung-yong, Kim Young-kwon, Lee Kyu-sung, Park Yong-woo and Lee Myung-jae were rested for the FA Cup tie. Uhm Won-sang was named on the bench but did not play. Kim Min-hyuk, Lee In-gyu, Bako, and Seol Young-woo came on as substitutes and played short minutes. The partial rotation for this match and the first leg was successful. After the game against Jeonnam, head coach Hong Myung-bo said, “I don’t think there will be much of a problem with the upcoming matches and games” despite the 120-minute battle.

It will be interesting to see if Ulsan can complete their revenge against Daejeon.
